Well the name came from our Australian heritage, the "milkbar" is what we would call the suburban mom and pop corner shop or bodega. More popular in the 80's and 90's than today.

Staying true to my Aussie blood despite my feet landing in North America, I wanted to create a store where you could get everything you need for your home...but with a little sass and character.
